After capping off a huge month in April, Empire Sports is headed full throttle into May which could be the biggest month for the company yet. Recent developments for the company include:
A growing and increasingly talented roster as South Carolina bantamweight prospect John Sweeney signs with ESM. Look out for this kid as he continues to dominate the local circuit before making the leap to the big time. ESM stalwart and UFC vet Zack Makovsky will fight in Vienna on May 13th. Hugo Prada looked exceptional in his recent victory in Pinnacle Fights. Stunning Colombian beauty Alejandra Lara took another step on her way to becoming MMA’s biggest female Spanish speaking star by signing with Viacom owned Bellator, one of the world’s top promotions. One of the hot, young prospects in the sport, Tanner Saraceno will fight for a title on May 23rd in Philadelphia when he faces Sean Brady at CFFC 65 while ESM Middleweight Cristian Torres will face Mike Wilcox on the same card. Then to top it off the always tough Alex Torres will face Joziro Boye May 26th in the main event at the Caribbean Fighting Championships.
Said Empire CEO Hector Castro, “In May we’ve got fighters in main events all over the world. Our roster keeps getting better and the deals we’re involved in for our clients keep getting bigger. Keep watching for more news in the months to come. You ain’t seen nothing yet.”
